Saw you at Mid X music festival in July 2003 loved it! Met my family from up north at the PFF and was able to see you again last weekend- loved it! Used to see Rasta Rafiki at a local bar in Lewisburg, WV back in the day, so it brought back a great deal of memories of listening to them on tape, Eco Geo, wore it out! Hope that the Purple Fiddle will again co-host a 2nd PFF. As now considered middle aged and toting our two teenagers to events like All Good and various fests it was nice to be at a smaller, more intimate venue such as Canaan. Looked at your schedule to see if I could catch you again before winter sets in. On a personal note, I loved how the band changed it up, your talent and energy was an epiphany! There were nine in our group from 14 to 47 and we all got our groove on! Appreciated all the talent, especially yours and was happy to be turned on to Teresa Anderson. My family is going to see her this weekend in Haddon Heights, NJ this coming weekend. Thanks a million for putting on one hell of a show. Best, Judi (Lewisburg, WV)

This band is perhaps the best band I’ve heard/seen at the Fiddle. They’ve got it all: witty lyrics, awesome command of their instruments, stage presence, verve, and an ability to fuse traditions to really have a “newgrass” sound. Plus, they are adorable. I wish I could be in Canaan for the show. PLEASE come to the Fiddle again, soon. I’ll make sure my guests that weekend know they will be missing something if they don’t see this band, and I’ll need to check if they might be doing any shows in DC-NOVA. Colleen
