Can’t wait for the show, hope you’re enjoying the snowy drive over from Bend. I have a photograph I’ve titled “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Pick-A-Thon” for Shawn. The Portland peeps are anxiously awaiting you arrival and may even put all ya’ll up for the night. See ya in a few. Pick-A-Thon next year? I think the Oregon Country Fair is ready for you.

I can’t believe you guys are going to be playing in Eugene at Sam Bonds! I am so bummed because I have to miss the show. I just moved out here 3 years ago from Virginia. I am from Winchester, VA and have seen you all play at the Strausburg Theatre many, many times. It’s always a stomp and it’s always a good time gettin’ down with everybody from home. I just finished a 4 1/2 month hike on the Appalachian Trail and I am in serious debt and so I have to work the night of your performance doing a janitor shift and I am so upset I will miss a band from home at one of my favorite bars in Eugene. Your music means a lot to me and I am so proud to tell everyone you’re from “back home in Virginia.” It makes me feel like I am no so far away from home. I hope you all enjoy your visit in Eugene and that you have a fabulous show. Thank you so much for being such dedicated people to your music and each other.
